How will this degree develop your potential
The program trains specialists with qualifications in Scandinavian Studies for the public and private sector.
The program focuses on three Scandinavian languages: Swedish, Danish, Norwegian. At admission, knowledge of one of the languages mentioned is required.
Courses are offered not only on the Swedish/Danish/Norwegian languages and literature, but also on a broad range of subjects dealing with the culture, history and different aspects of contemporary Scandinavian society.

Admission requirements
Bachelor´s degree or equivalent level of education in Scandinavian Studies.

Students are admitted according to ranking lists formed on the basis of the results of  entrance examinations  and pursuant to conditions given in the: Languages and Literature Admission Requirements 2009/2010

Application information
International applicants must submit their documents to the International Student Office:
April 15   - non EU applicants
June 1 - EU applicants

Documents required upon applying for Master`s studies, international students submit their documents in English:

1. application form for master`s studies
2. application form for   file icon assessing prior learning
3. copy of the identification document 
4. copy of the diploma and diploma supplement (transcript / marksheet) of the preceding study level in the original language, (it is necessary to submit a copy certified by the educational institution issuing the document or a notarised copy).
5. official translation of the diploma and diploma supplement into English, translation certified;
6. certified copy of the upper secondary school certificate and a list with grades - for non EU applicants;
7. official translation of the upper secondary school certificate and a list with grades into English, translation certified - for non EU applicants;

Tuition Fees and Scholarship information

NB! Applicants graduating  a university  in 2010 and having their diplomas issued later than the set deadlines ( in July, for example) , please send  an application form and  the most recent Transcript of Records  by the required deadline.  Inform the International Student Service when the final diploma will be issued.
