PhD scholarships for degree studies, all fields

All PhD studies at all faculties of the University  of Tartu are free.
Every faculty and programme has a number of PhD study places financed by the Estonian state which provides a monthly stipend of ca 383 EUR/month for the PhD student that receives this state-financed study place.

Application deadline:  June 1
How to apply: students must follow the general application procedure for PhD studies
Students who do not receive a state-financed place with a monthly stipend can still take advantage of the free tuition, and may later apply for stipends if they study full time.
