The current version of this site has been made by two persons, both of whom are amateurs in webweaving, namely Prof. Dr. phil. Thomas R. Kämmerer and Raul Veede. So, we have to apologize for any possible problems You might encounter while viewing this site. At least, these problems should not be too big, as You have reached this page deep inside the site, somehow. We ask You to also keep in mind that this site is currently under construction in most parts, and hopefully will be so for a long time still, as it is a sign of development and not stagnation.
Though some pages of this site have been made using MS Word or other tools, mainly Arachnophilia has been used. This little careware program has been of immense help.
As for now, all of the site has been viewed and checked thoroughly only in Internet Explorer 6.0. We hope to arrange it soon also to be compatible with Netscape, Oracle, and Lynx, but this will take much time. If You have any browser-specific problems here, please be patient, and if You know how to repair these features, please let us know about it, too.
For Cyrillic text we have used Times New Roman Cyrillic as this should be available for everyone.
Throughout this website, CG Semitica fonts have been used to display specific letters in Sumerian and Akkadian transliterations and names. These fonts have been made by Dr. Dirk Schwiderski in 1996. To avoid any font problems, all CG Semitica fonts (packed by Winzip) are made available for download here:
