The collection consists of 73 items. The oldest and the rarest
is a cuneiform tablet from Sumer from 2046 BC – a document
on the time and material spent on building a house.
A letter and an envelope from 1115 BC is a document of freeing a
slave; it states that the slave has paid two minae of silver (1
mina = 516 g) to his master in the presence of witnesses.
The collection includes also some Greek vases, Roman clay lamps
and glass dishes.
