The sculpture collection of about 500 items consists mainly of
plaster casts modeled on the basis of Greek and Roman originals
of ancient sculptures (7th century BC – 4th century AD) in
various European museums. Skillfully selected collection offers
an overview of the development of Greek art from the Archaic period
to Hellenism, and the period of Roman empire. The plaster casts
were bought in the second half of the 19th century.
