Arrival and Housing
Two weeks prior to the start of the programme the pre-departure file will be sent to all participants. This file contains the daily schedule, information about accommodation and relevant contact information of the programme managers.
Arrival and Transport During the Programme
Please note that pariticpants of the summer programme are responsible for their travel arrangements to the city where the programme starts as well as departure from the city where the programme ends.

Participants of the programme are expected to notify programme managers as soon as they have finalised their travel arrangements regarding their time and place of arrival.
Organised travel during the programme, as well as transfer from one country to another during the programme, is covered by the programme fee and organised by the programme managers. Students are asked to follow the travel arrangements provided by them. Travel inside of the cities is the responsibility of the students via designated public transportation, unless charter service is provided.
Please note that the following information does not apply to the language programmes – see respective page. Participants of language programmes are responsible for booking their own accommodation.
The accommodation in twin rooms (towels and sheets are provided as well) with (the breakfas-not in all programmes) is organised either at international student dorms such or hostels / hotels. In case the student wishes single accommodation, he/she needs to notify the staff of the International Summer University via online application of the summer programme. If the request can be satisfied, an additional charge will apply.
