Learning Agreement
One of the principles of the ECTS is a tripartite learning agreement, i.e. before commencing his/her studies abroad, a tripartite learning agreement should be entered into between the student, his/her home institution of higher education and the receiving institution of higher education. A tripartite learning agreement is mainly entered into in case a student goes to study abroad through the Erasmus/Socrates programme. However, all exchange students coming to the Univesity of Tartu may use the agreement to establish a study plan for the period to be spent here.
