MEET THE SPEAKERS

All TEDxTartu speakers appeared to have a connection to the University of Tartu, including Professor of Psychophysiology Jaanus Harro and Professor of Cell Biology Toivo Maimets. Aune Past is an image researcher and lecturer at UT. David Vseviov, Kristjan Port, Rain Rannu and Marko Rillo have studied and/or worked at UT. Meet the TEDxTartu speakers...

We have prepared a roundup of TEDxTartu by speakers and sessions, spiced up by pictures from the event. 10 COLORFUL FACTS

This is a quick and playful insight into the TEDxTartu event: 200 people wrote motivation letters to get hold of one of the 100 seats available at TEDxTartu. The President of Estonia, Toomas Hendrik Ilves, sent his greeting to the conference participants. The average age of the organizing team was 22. Trending TEDxTartu quote on Twitter was...

We were out interviewing some participants and speakers at the event, asking them to share their first impressions. "I really like the idea of having TEDx conference in Tartu because of the university town. As the conference has just started, most of the impressions come from the optimism and energy of the TEDx team..." Watch our 3 video interviews...
