Collaboration Agreement between UT and the National Archives
On Thursday, 16 May, Volli Kalm, the Rector of the University of Tartu, and Priit Pirsko, the State Archivist, signed a collaboration agreement between the National Archives and the University of Estonia in the National Archives (Liivi Street 4, Tartu). The agreement values mutual efforts in preparing top-level specialists, preserving documentational heritage and providing high-level, highly scientific research.
The National Archives is an important source of learning and practice for the University of Tartu, offering students and lecturers a chance to use archival materials for their academic and research work. With the collaboration agreement, the National Archives will continue allowing archive-related work practice with supervisors provided by the host, as well as free excursions.
