The Increase in Participants of UT’s Continuing Education Program Shows Appreciation for Life-Long Studies

Year by year, the number of people participating in continuing education at the University of Tartu is increasing. Co-operation with companies, public sector establishments and various target audiences has brought over 33,700 such students to acquire new knowledge in nearly 1,500 courses in 2012, thus cementing UT’s position as the largest provider of continuing education in Estonia.
In 2012, co-operation with companies and organisations has increased. In co-operation with both private and public sector companies, as well as UT lecturers, hundreds of need-based continuing trainings, aimed straight at the target groups, have been performed.
