UT Sports Day on September 15!

All University employees, students, and, for the first time, alumni are welcome to participate in the traditional University Autumn Sports Day on 15 September 2011 at the University of Tartu Sports Centre (Ujula 4).
At the Sports Day, it is possible to take part in running lessons, various aerobics and workout gym trainings, or practice onrowing machines under the guidance of professional coaches.
For the more competitive-minded there are different athletics competitions, indoor football, blitz chess and table tennis tournament that offer ample opportunities to vie with each other. Ball gamefans can face off in several single contests.
The program also includes a lecture on the basics of training and healthy diet, orienteering lessons and sports equipment flea market. In addition, you can have your health condition checked or get a relaxing massage for a nominal fee.
At the Sports Day the University's Most Sportive Employees 2011 will be announced. All members of the University academic community can nominate a colleague for the title by sending an e-mail with the name of the candidate and a short explanation by 9 September to info [ät] tysk [dot] ee
