Extension of the Study Period

Exchange and visiting students who would like to study at the University of Tartu longer than first planned can extend their study period as long as the co-operation agreement between universities enables it (applies to exchange students) :

Exchange students: have to fill in application form for extending the studies and bring it to the International Student Service. The confirmation from the home university and changes to the Learning Agreement signed by home university must be attached to the application form.
Exchange students who are studying at the University of Tartu within inter-university cooperation agreements need to discuss the extension possibility with the home and Tartu University coordinators before submitting the application.

Students who wish to continue their studies here during a spring term, must hand in the documents by December 1.
