Study Information System

The Study Information System (Õppeinfosüsteem in Estonian) provides updated information about courses and study programmes available at the university, enables students to see timetables, register for courses and examinations and to keep an eye on their academic progress.

All international students admitted to the university are given a password in order to use the system for the aforementioned purposes. However, the system also allows users to access general information, such as courses and programmes offered, without a password.

Study Information System

To get a list of courses taught in English, German, Russian or Estonian at any faculty:

  • Go to the link "Courses"on the very first page of the System.
  • Select the faculty/department you wish to take the courses from.
  • Make sure that the programme is confirmed for your intended study period (e.g. 2012/2013 spring).
  • Change the "unidentified" from the drop down menu next to the study period into "full-time".
  • Select the language of teaching from the bottom right side.

NB! It is extremely important to choose the correct (1) faculty, (2) study period, (3) "full-time" studies and (4) "language of teaching". Otherwise the system gives you too many options (including courses in different languages and time periods).

Abbreviations used in the System:
A- autumn
S- spring
