UT campus towns (Tartu, Narva, Pärnu, Viljandi) are very safe towns to live in. Nevertheless, it is always wise to take precautions, particularly when moving to an unfamiliar place. The following text is not meant to scare you off, but just to keep you informed about how to keep yourself out of harm’s way. The Police would like to make several recommendations to international residents, to keep you as safe as possible. Wearing a pedestrian reflector during the darker months is compulsory in Estonia!
