"Animal personality: causes and consequences of behavioural consistency in a passerine"

Kees van Oers töötab asutuses Netherlands Institute of Ecology (Wageningen, Holland).

Enda kohta kirjutab Kees järgmist:

I am Senior Scientist at the Netherlands Institute of Ecology (NIOO-KNAW) in Wageningen, with main interests in Behavioural Ecology and Evolutionary Biology. My research focuses on explaining the causes and consequences of individual differences in behavioural consistency and plasticity. My main study object is a small passerine, the great tit (Parus major), which is one of the best studied model species in animal personality research from an ecological and evolutionary point of view. My current projects range from unraveling the genes involved in personality differences to investigating fitness consequences of variation in personality.
