The BioMedical Admissions Test (BMAT)
What is BMAT?
The BioMedical Admissions Test (BMAT) is a 2-hour medical admissions assessment for applicants who apply for our English-taught Medicine programme.
It is developed and administered by Cambridge Assessment Admissions Testing and can be taken at test centres worldwide.
BMAT is an admissions test that assesses your ability to apply scientific and mathematical knowledge, as well as problem solving, critical thinking and written communication skills that are essential to university-level study. It gives you the chance to stand out from the crowd and show your potential to succeed on a demanding, medical degree.
BMAT is a 2-hour pen-and-paper test, which consists of three sections and is taken in English. Sections 1 and 2 are multiple-choice, and Section 3 is a writing task.
How is the test format and scoring?

How many times can I take BMAT?
Please note that you can take the test only ONCE in an academic year. For example if you take the test in November, you cannot take it again in February. The test results are valid for one year.
When can I take BMAT?
