DAAD Sholarship for enrolled BA students of German Universties
APPLICATION DEADLINE HAS PASSED
Sholarships are available for the programme Estonian e-Society: from e-Services and e-Governance to Cyber Security 12-25 July in Tallinn and Tartu.
The DAAD scholarships cover:
- travel expenses up to 225 €
- residence expenses
- a maximum amount of 650€ for reimbursement of participation expenses.
A reasonable personal contribution for expenses is expected from the scholarship holders.
How can the German students apply?
The main requirement for being supported by the DAAD in the “Go-East” Programme is German citizenship (or equal rights to German citizens according to §8 par. 1 it. 2 and par. 2 of BAföG (Federal Law of Education Promotion) of the applicants.
The interested student is required to apply both to the foreign university for admission to a summer school, and to the DAAD for a scholarship acquirement at the same time.
At the end of the application period, the University of Tartu sends a ranking of applicants to the DAAD.
The University of Tartu application deadline (20 May) is also the deadline for the application for the DAAD.

The application deadline is 20 May, 2015.
Tuition fee is 945 EUR. Covers participation in lectures, field trips such as site visits and professional meetings organised as part of the academic programme, organised transportation between the cities and cultural events during the programme.
Accomodation fee is 455 EUR. Covers accommodation in hostels during the programme (two persons in one room) with the breakfast.

- with added motivation letter (max 900 words) and copy of passport.
