When sending documents by post, applicants must ask their previous educational institution to send their Transcript of Records and certified copy of the diploma (degree certificate) directly to the University of Tartu in a sealed envelope. This applies to bachelor´s and master´s documents issued by higher education institutions of African countries.
NB! It should be noted that the Higher National Diploma and degrees classified as "3rd Class Honours" or "Pass" do not grant access to master's or PhD level programmes.

Official translations into English must be made at a Translation Office accredited by Ministry of Justice. Translations must be certified by two following institutions:
Applicants to PhD programmes must have the copies of educational documents certified by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) http://www.hec.gov.pk. This applies to copies of bachelor´s and master´s documents issued by higher education institutions in Pakistan.
Once you have been asked to send your documents by post you must arrange the official transcript of records to be sent in a sealed envelope directly from your previous educational institution to the University of Tartu. This applies to bachelor´s and master´s documents issued by higher education institutions in South-Korea.
All applicants from the USA must order their official transcript to be sent from the previous education institution they attended and have it mailed to the University of Tartu in a sealed envelope. Degree certificate is not required.
