The Day of Gustavus Adolphus is celebrated on 6 November with a conference, lectures and a concert.

A performance of dances from the times of King Gustavus Adolphus and Queen Christina, presented by Tartu-based early dance ensemble Saltatriculi in costumes of the period.
These events are collaborative effort of the University of Tartu, the Department of Scandinavian Studies of the University of Tartu, the Embassy of the Kingdom of Sweden to Estonia and the Nordic Council of Ministers’ Office in Estonia.
