Kersti Rattus about the exhibition: “We have tried to integrate painting skills and the use of textile materials at the University of Tartu Viljandi Culture Academy's MA curriculum on Native Crafts. The tapestry is definitely the point where painting and textiles meet the most, but the problems of a painting composition can also be explored with less time consuming technologies. The exhibition shows my spring semester preparation experiments with etching, object printing, steam-proof paper printing, and other similar techniques.”
