Programme:
On 11 March at 5:30 pm concert dedicated to Lithuania's Independence Day at 5:30 pm at the Estonian National Museum. On the day of Lithuania's restoration of Independence, there will be a concert of the Lithuanian folk instrument scrabalai in the Estonian National Museum (ENM); performer Karolis Šileika (known as Skrabalman). The concert is free of charge. Lithuanian visitors have a free entrance to the ENM exhibitions throughout the day, 11 March.
On 15 March at 11 am guided tour in English “Traces of Lithuania in Estonian History” at the ENM permanent exhibition Encounters. Participation with a museum ticket to the permanent exhibition.

On 17 March at 4 pm opening of the exhibition "Together" by Lithuanian artists Elvyra Katalina Kriaučiūnaitė and Nijolė Šaltenytė <>at Stairs Gallery at the University of Tartu, College of Languages and Cultures (Lossi 3).
On 18 March at 6 pm presentation of the book "Fotosintezė" by Reda Tomingas at Tartu City Library, ground floor (Kompanii 3-5). The event will be held in Lithuanian
On 20 March at 3 pm historical conference "Lieu de memoir. Historical events in people's memory” at the UT Delta Centre Room 1020. At the conference, we will discuss how historical memory is formed, how much influence the state’s policy has on it, and whether we can say, that we know something about the historical events. Master Sergeant Ernestas Kuckailis and Aimer Maiste will talk about the partisan war in Lithuania and Estonia – what was happening and how it is reflected nowadays. Karolis Zikaras and Colonel (ret.) dr. Zdzisław Śliwa will present Lithuanian and Polish viewpoints to the Žalgiris / Tanenberg / Grunwald battle
On 20 March at 5.30 pm film "1410. Known unknown Žalgiris" (2013) at the UT Delta Center Room 1020. Director Aleksandras Matonis. This educational documentary presents a fresh scientific view on the battle of Žalgiris / Grunwald / Tannenberg, which was one of the most important military confrontations during the late Middle Ages. Scientific hypothesis shatter foundations of centuries-long stereotypes and myths about the battle. Historians provide a new vision of the strategy of King Jogaila and Grand Duke Vytautas when starting the war with the Teutonic order, their tactical decisions, disposition of the armed forces as well as the localisation of the battlefield.
