Prof. Miklos Szanyi, the director of the Institute of World Economics at the Hungarian Academy of Sciences will visit Tartu next week to give a presentation “Varieties of State Capitalism“.
The lecture will take a closer look into different relations between political power and economy.
The examples of different countries (Hungary, Turkey, Russia, etc.) are discussed, to better understand how governments have increasingly intervened in the development of both the economy and society as a whole.
The lecture takes place on Thursday, May 30, 12:00, at the University of Tartu, School of Economics and Business Administration (Juhan Liivi 4 - room 214)
