European College of University of Tartu invites you to a public lecture
“The European Dilemmas of Economic Policy”
by Mr Siim Kallas, Visiting Professor of the University of Tartu. This event is a part of the lecture series on “European Dilemmas” by Siim Kallas in the European College during spring semester 2015.

Mr Siim Kallas is former Vice-President of the European Commission and European Commissioner for Transport. He has been an active participant in the restoration of Estonian statehood and has served in Estonia as Prime Minister (2002–2003), Minister of Finance (1999–2002), Minister of Foreign Affairs (1995-1996) and President of the Central Bank (1991–1995). Mr Siim Kallas graduated cum laude from the Finance and Credit Department of the University of Tartu in 1972 and starting from Spring Semester 2015 is affiliated to the University of Tartu as a Visiting Professor.
