Exhibition is a collection of Moss’ illustrations for the textbook “Human anatomy“ from 2009–2019.
Rauno Thomas Moss is a lecturer at the Centre for Arts and a painter. He teaches sculpture, drawing, illustration, comics, plastic anatomy and general composition. Moss holds a BA in Painting from the University of Tartu as well as MA Semiotics and Culture Studies. Currently, he is doing his Ph.D. with the main theme "Dialogue and Discourse: Visual Semiotic Analysis of Orthodox Icon". In addition to painting, he has been engaged in computer graphics and curatorial work and has published many writings in cultural analyses. He has had a large number of individual and joint exhibitions in Estonia and abroad. Moss belongs to the Estonian Artists' Association, Estonian Painters' Association, Tartu Artists’ Union and Estonian Semiotics Association.
