On Thursday, November 28, everyone is welcome to attend the remote sensing seminar at Tartu Observatory in Tõravere. Mariliis Vaht will make a presentation “Future directions in user interfaces – advances in intuitive technologies”.
Summary
The way people interact with machines is constantly evolving with the aim of bridging the gap between human intention and machine action. Improved interfaces can deeply alter the way vehicles are controlled, entertainment is consumed or even change lives by enhancing the autonomy of people living with disabilities. In the (near) future, physical interfaces (e.g., touch screen and keyboard) can be replaced with the conscious modulation of biological signals by the user. The combination natural language commands and physical effects results in handling tasks in the most intuitive way.
See you in Tõravere!
