Time and place: 25.11 kell 10.00, Riia tn 23b, auditorium of the Omikum (room 105).
Information about the speaker:
JÜRI REIMAND, Ontario Institute for Cancer Research and University of Toronto in Ontario, Canada
Head of the computational biology team and assistant professor
Dr. Reimand’s lab focuses on computational analysis of complex biomolecular datasets and development of statistical and machine-learning methodologies. His current research involves multiple cancer types and focuses on two major themes: improving our understanding of the non-coding genome to discover of genetic mechanisms of disease and novel targets and biomarkers, and integrative analysis of multi-omics data representing distinct facets of the central dogma.
