Rector of the University of Tartu Volli Kalm and Chair of the Statutes Implementation Committee Vice Rector for Research Marco Kirm invite all members and partners of the university to the seminar “How to make successful reforms in universities – the international experience”. The goal of the seminar is to have a look into the experience of structural and governance reform of two successful foreign universities and discuss which aspects of what they have done and achieved we would be ready to implement to achieve the objectives of the University of Tartu.
The seminar takes place on Thursday, 26 February 2015, from 15:00 to 18:00 at the lecture theatre of Jakobi 2-226. Two very diverse reform experiences are shared by the Senior Vice Principal and Deputy Vice Chancellor Professor Neal Juster from the University of Glasgow and Rector emeritus Professor Perttu Vartiainen from the University of Eastern Finland.
