The people who are interested in developing their own programming with Matlab and also students of different fields who want to have more critical point of view to the programing with Matlab are the main target group of this course.
The students who have successfully passed the course will get certificate of University of Tartu.
No specific preliminary knowledge needed
This course provides an aggressively gentle introduction to MATLAB®. It is designed to give students fluency in MATLAB, including popular toolboxes. The course consists of interactive lectures with students doing sample MATLAB problems in real time. This e-course will increase the knowledge of the students into the level that they will be able to take a wide range of courses that need to programing such as Digital Image Processing (LOTI.05.037), Pattern Recognition (LOTI.05.046), Probability Models in Computer Engineering (LOTI.05.047) and Intellegent Systems (MTAT.06.048).
In this e-course we will focus on the topics: introduction to Matlab; introduction to variables; Matlab syntax; m-file; Matlab functions; introduction to programing; binomial equations; polynomial equations; integral and derivative; plotting some 2D or 3D function.
Accomplishing the tests and assignments which are provided in Moodle.
- I most liked that professor was very easy to understand and the lessons to follow from the very beginning.
- I'm satisfied with the course structure. I think videolectures are perfect for this sort of a course.
- I am really happy with this course but I think that some information about arrays could be important and, it could be a little bit further with algorithm.
- From my personal point of view I understood very well what the professor explained, also his speech rate was good.
