2010's Best Young Scholar is UT researcher Bruno Mölder
Mölder's field is philosophy of mind, a primary branch of analytical philosophy which deals with the role of a person's mind or psyche as it relates to the natural world. Mölder is currently teaching courses on epistemology, metaphysics and philosophy of mind at the University of Tartu.
Last year's prize went to yet another UT scientist - physicist Mait Müntel.
The 4,800-euro prize is awarded to a scholar who is of Estonian origin, is under 35, holds a PhD and is engaged in research at an Estonian or foreign research institution.
