2014 Admission to the University of Tartu Estonian curriculum begins
Between 24 June and 4 July, applications to enroll in the Estonian curriculum bachelor’s studies, applied higher education and master’s studies both in daytime study and at the Open University. 2415 and 1370 new students will be admitted in 71 bachelor’s and 87 master’s studies curricula, respectively. A list of those admitted will be published at the latest on 18 July.
The University of Tartu offers the most extensive choice of specialties in Estonia, which allows students combining of different subjects and thus increasing their likelihood of becoming a success in future. A wide range of curricula and the high level of teaching attracts each year more and more of Estonia’s best secondary school graduates to the university: in 2013 about 60% of those who graduated secondary school cum laude aspired to study at the University of Tart as well as 170 young people who had won high places at various Olympiads.
* 24 June ‒ 4 July ‒ applications to the University of Tartu’s daytime studies and the Open University via online admission system SAIS, personally at the Main Building or in colleges.
* 8–6 July ‒ entrance exams (according to the admission conditions of a study programme).
* at the latest 18 July – lists of those admitted are published in SAIS.
* 21 July – deadline to confirm starting the studies.
