MORE INTERNATIONAL APPLICANTS SEEK OUT UT
The programme of Semiotics, which admitted 29 new entrants, was the most successful. The programme of Software Engineering, instituted in cooperation with the Tallinn University of Technology, enrolled 18 international students. All in all, 136 international applicants have been admitted to the university’s Bachelor's, Master's and Doctoral programmes this year.
UT offers six international Master’s programmes taught in English: Semiotics, Applied Measurement Science, Software Engineering, Baltic Studies, European Union – Russian Studies and Wellness and Spa Service Design and Management.
The largest number of applicants to UT’s international degree programmes are coming from Russia, Finland, the Ukraine and the US. The more exotic countries represented in the pool of 2009 applicants included, among others, Bangladesh, Guatemala, Colombia and Yemen.
