A public lecture by Ben Okri on June 3
On Tuesday, June 3, 2014 2:15 PM the Department of English is most proud to invite everybody interested to come and meet the legend!
Ben Okri is giving a public lecture on his works. The lecture is held at the History Museum of The University of Tartu.
Ben Okri is a Nigerian novelist and poet who in 1991 was awarded the acclaimed Man Booker Prize for his novel "The Famished Road". His works often interweave mythology with present, dreams with reality. Many critics consider him one of the foremost African writers of today.
