University of Tartu students participate in the Summer School AACIMP 2013 in Kiev
More than 150 students and professors from over 40 countries will come to National Technical University of Ukraine “KPI” on 1-17, August to study and teach on three independent streams (series of lectures) of the VIII Summer School "Achievements and Applications of Contemporary Mathematics, Informatics and Physics" dedicated to Neuroscience, Applied Computer Science and Operational Research. 6 UT students - four of them will even give lectures on the topics related to their research – will participate in the project.
"Summer School AACIMP-2013 will be one of the biggest and most multinational schools in Eastern Europe", says the member of the organizing committee Dmytro Fishman, PhD student of the Institute of Computer Science in the University of Tartu. "We are very proud to welcome such a lot of students and professors from so many countries. I am also very pleased with the growing number of participants from the University of Tartu. It is worth saying this year University of Tartu has been announced to be an educational partner of the Summer School in Kiev.”
The lecturers of the Summer School AACIMP are eminent scientists from the universities of world-wide reputation of Germany, France, Italy, Sweden, Belgium, Hungary, Poland, Russia, Turkey and the USA as well as leading specialists representing the world’s largest companies.
Published in the Elsevier events’ global list, Wikipedia, Habrhabr, IFORS news and many other well-known educational web-portals, Summer School AACIMP is considered to be one of the most famous schools in Eastern Europe.
