The Faculty of Science and Technology has announced admission in May 2018 for the following thesis projects:
- First-principles and crystal-field modelling of lanthanide- and transition metal-doped phosphor materials (supervisor Mikhail Brik)
- Single photon emitters in spectral range from UV to NIR based on rare-earth doped fluoride nanoparticles (supervisors Yury Orlovskiy, Ilmo Sildos, Viktor Peet)
