Recipients of good teaching grant 2019 announced
UT Academic Affairs Committee announced the recipients of the 2019 good teaching grant: Jane Klavan, Janet Laidla and Tiit Remm of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities; Kaia Kastepõld-Tõrs, Katri Kütt and Dagmar Narusson of the Faculty of Social Sciences; Ene Indermitte, Kaja-Triin Laisaar and Ave Minajeva of the Faculty of Medicine; and Mirjam Paales, Janika Raun and Raimond-Henrik Tunnel of the Faculty of Science and Technology. The grant enables the recipients to conduct research on their own teaching and analyse the efficiency of teaching.
This year it was possible to apply for the good teaching grant at the University of Tartu for the fifth time already. Every year the grant is awarded to three academic staff members of each faculty. The good teaching grant (so-called scholarship of teaching and learning) is awarded to academic staff for the systematic inquiry into their own teaching practices and for disseminating the best practices.
