The name, logomark, logotype, horizontal logo and round logo of the University of Tartu are registered trade and service marks (‘trademarks’) of the University of Tartu, who holds the exclusive right to use these trademarks. The use of trademarks is regulated by the University of Tartu bylaws.
Branded gifts, publications, web pages etc. must be designed in accordance with the university’s visual style guide (in Estonian).
All structural units of the university have the right to use the trademarks of the University of Tartu. External parties may apply for a permission to use the university’s trademarks and other symbols by sending a written application to Piret Normet, Head of Marketing, piret.normet [ät] ut.ee.
The University of Tartu uses two types of logos – the horizontal logo and the round logo. The rule is to always use only one type of logo at a time; never use the horizontal and the round logo side by side.
The logos of the University of Tartu and the logos of structural units (in png, eps, pdf formats) are available for download here.
