Bringing your Pet
Dogs and cats need to be vaccinated against rabies, as well have a pet passport and a microchip in order to travel within European Union. Ask your local vet about the possibilities. Check the Tax Board and Customs website for more information.
Local governments in Estonia have made certain regulations about keeping pets. Dogs must be vaccinated and then registered within 10 days after it turns 4 month old or within 10 days after you acquire it. Cats may be registered, but this is not obligatory. It is advisable to put a collar with the registration number and contact information of the owner on the cat.
