
World-class intellectual property experts give a seminar in UT
On the May 19, seminar on IP in software development will be held in the University of Tartu. Our special guests from acknowledged patent and trade mark company Kilburn & Strode, represented by associate Jeremy Smith and from leading international law firm Bird & Bird, represented by associate Tim Harris, offer their extensive knowledge and expertise in the fields of software patenting and licensing.
Jeremy will present an introduction to types of IP available, regarding software, and will focus on software patenting.
Tim will focus on software licenses, especially free software licenses and their use in software development.
Both presenters conclude by taking questions.
