Rahvusvahelise kosmosenädala üritused
Oktoobri alguses on rahvusvaheline kosmosenädal, millest kõik on oodatud osa võtma! Eestis tähistatakse kosmosenädalat mitme kosmoseteemalise üritusega, nagu näiteks Copernicuse programmi teabetuur, valguse festival ning avalik filmi- ja vaatlusõhtu.
World Space Week 2019 events
It is World Space Week on October 4–10. In Estonia, everyone is invited to celebrate space by attending space-related events like the Copernicus programme roadshow, Festival of Lights, and public movie and observation night.
Festival of Lights
On World Space Week, we kindly invite everyone to the Festival of Lights which combines light, art, and science. The festival is held on October 5 on the shore of the Nõo Mill Lake and starts at sunset at 6.37 p.m.
Festival of Lights focuses on light and light based technologies. It creates a platform to meet and share one's knowledge and experience working with light. The festival studies the essence of light from the scientific and artistic perspective. The artistic perspective is presented by dancers, singers and musicians, scientific side by researchers.
Valguse festival
Rahvusvahelisel kosmosenädalal on kõik oodatud valguse festivalile, mis seob valguse, etenduskunstid ja teaduse. Festival toimub 5. oktoobril Nõo veskijärve kaldal ja algab päikeseloojangul kell 18:37.
Kontsert ILU JA VALU
Reedel, 25. oktoobril toimub TÜ aulas kontsert: ILU JA VALU, solist Theodor Sink (tšello) Pärnu Linnaorkester, dirigent Kaspar Mänd

Estonia's National University 100: Premiere of “… windship with oars of light …” by Pärt Uusberg in Vanemuine Concert Hall
The large-scale composition for mixed choir and symphony orchestra, “… windship with oars of light …” by composer Pärt Uusberg (1986) is dedicated to the 100th anniversary of Estonia’s national university.
Texts by Uku Masing and Kristian Jaak Peterson.
Performed by the University of Tartu Symphony Orchestra, Tartu Academic Male Choir, Academic Women’s Choir of the University of Tartu and Chamber Choir of the University of Tartu.
Conductors: Taavi Kull, Triin Koch and Kuno Kerge.
